Fast Track Your Photo Success
With a Personalized One on One Workshop
Who Is This Workshop For?
Do you have a new camera? Or an old one you keep telling yourself you’ll learn how to use? Reading books is an OK way to learn, but the best way is hands on, in the field with personal instructor. I know and love photography, and genuinely want to teach you the things you wish to learn! This workshop is for beginners who want to get familiar with the controls of their camera and learn the basic principles of landscape photography.
What Will You Learn?
You’ll learn about the controls on your camera, how they interact together, and how to read the information on your LCD. You won’t be afraid of your camera anymore. Get out of automatic mode! We’ll cover the fundamentals of composition, exposure, focus, choosing a subject, and lighting.
Get answers to the questions you’ve always had, and apply those principles right away, in the field!
What Gear Do You Need?
You’ll need a DSLR camera with a mid-range zoom lens (approximately within 18-200 mm), a tripod, and a remote shutter release (don’t worry these are inexpensive and very useful). Please contact me if you have any questions about the necessary equipment. You also must have a desire to learn and have fun!
What Does The Workshop Include?
We’ll spend 2 hours on-location at the San Diego location of your choice. We can discuss and decide on the location together depending on your specific wants and needs. We’ll take a variety of images, and I’ll answer all your questions. You’ll feel more confident and will be taking better images in no time!
Why Should I Be Your Instructor?
I’m an award winning photographer who has exhibited in galleries and shops, is trusted and recommended by large, well-known organizations such as the Helen Woodward Animal Center and has had dozens of images in the San Diego Reader, billboards, international magazines and press releases. I like to have fun. Our time together will be a low-stress, no-pressure adventure.
2 hour introductory, personalized, one-on-one workshop – $125
Subsequent sessions for either photography or post-processing/editing (Adobe Lightroom required), just $99/hour
